Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as gliding, kneading, rolling, tapping, stretching, and cross-friction to help the body improve circulation.

The benefits of this type of massage are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Deep Tissue/Myofascial Release

Deep Tissue Massage aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. This is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries.

Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is common 24-48 hours after the treatment.  Drinking plenty of water after your massage will help aid to flush and remove toxins.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. A trigger point is a knot in a specific muscle area that will not relax. By relaxing the knot, pain can be decreased in other parts of the body called the “referred pain” areas. Trigger points are built up over time often due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress.

During your session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques in order to release your tight areas in the muscle thus alleviating pain.

This type of therapy can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.

Golf Ball Massage

Golf Ball Massage is a technique that is integrated with Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, and trigger point therapy using controlled pressure throughout.

Gem ball therapy is also available upon request.

Chair Massage

Chair massage is a fast and effective, "come-in-as-you-are" session.  It's perfect for upper body work such as scalp, neck, shoulders, arms, forearms, hands, and entire back to relieve stress and reduce tension and pain.

If you have movement limitations and/or it's too painful for a traditional table massage this type of massage is perfect for you!

Chair Massage is done over clothes and doesn't require any massage oil! It's a great way to workout muscle tension before it develops into something worse.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal Massage is specific for pregnancy. Prenatal Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy due to the tremendous stress from the dramatic physical and emotional changes.  The benefits may include: joint pain relief, improved breathing and relaxation.

Prenatal massage incorporates various techniques that are specially developed for the expecting mother.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage isn't just for athletes!

It is also beneficial for people with injuries, chronic pain or restricted range of motion.  A variety of techniques will be used to focus and treat the problem area rather than a full body massage.

Massage Cupping Therapy

Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy.  The pressure that the cups create draws blood to the affected area to increase overall blood flow.  The increased blood flow can release muscle tension and stress, increase circulation, reduce inflammation, relieve muscle and joint pain, improve athletic performance and mobility, and shorten recovery time.
